Recognizing the work of researchers using GE Healthcare's IN Cell Analyzer
High-content analysis (HCA) has revolutionized the way researchers investigate biological systems by increasing the number of scientific questions they can ask whilst simultaneously decreasing the time taken to achieve results. GE Healthcare wishes to recognize the outstanding contribution of HCA to scientific understanding, with the launch of the HCA Award. Supported by BioTechniques, the award celebrates the positive impact of HCA on the quality, quantity, and type of research results achievable.

Who is eligible?
Users of the IN Cell Analyzer 1000, 2000, or 3000 who can demonstrate the value of HCA in their work, for example:
 • the power of mulitiparametric analysis
 • the ability to measure something that was not
   possible before
 • time/cost savings compared to previous methods
 • a positive impact on research/discovery programs

The prize
A trip for two people to one of the following conferences: Neuroscience 2010, ASCB 2010, CHI HCA 2011, SBS 2011or AACR 2011, where the winner will be presented with the HCA Award and will also have the opportunity to present a poster on their work.

Competition is now closed
Entries will be reviewed by an expert scientific panel comprising leading scientists and technology experts in the field of high-content cellular imaging and analysis. Entries closed on 31 July 2010.
