Anal Biochem 359: 112-9 (2006)
Characterization of binding kinetics of a panel of Fabs against an infectivity-related protein from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Those with the slowest dissociation rates provided the best protection in cell cytotoxicity studies. Binding data were acquired at different temperatures and under different buffer conditions. The comprehensive characterization of these Fabs shows how Biacore T100 can be used to complement protein therapeutic discovery programs from basic research to the selection of therapeutic candidates.

On the integration of a protein interaction array into a fully automated selection and screening process. In a scheme to find potent human antibody inhibitors to a human serine protease, the authors incorporated a Biacore Flexchip system as a secondary screen into a highly automated selection and screening process. This process was based on a limited number of selection and amplification rounds followed by interaction analysis on hundreds of candidates using Biacore Flexchip.
