In addition to the strong scientific program a number of other activities will run in parallel.

Tutorials: Are you new to the application of SPR, ITC, or DCS methodologies? Or are you experienced and want to explore how you can get the most out of your system through a deeper understanding of the technologies and the full capabilities they provide? Workshops: These sessions (approximately 75-90 minutes each) will provide educational and practical information on a range of application and methodology-related topics connected to Biacore and MicroCal systems. Each workshop will be run twice during the symposium.

Roundtables: A small panel of 3-4 experts will moderate discussion sessions (approximately 1 hour long) on a range of interesting topics. These topics will include: "The Role of SPR in Screening", "Using Orthogonal Approaches for Biophysical Characterization of Biomolecular Interactions", and "Writing Successful Grant Applications for Instrumentation". More details will follow shortly.

Excursions: On Monday afternoon, October 19^th, attendees will be offered a selection of activities and sights to explore in and around Baltimore. Please note that the cost of excursions is not inlcuded in the conference registration fee. More details to follow.
