Sale of GE Healthcare's Catalogue Radiochemical, Scintillation Proximity Assay & Cytostar-T product lines
In December 2008, we announced that we were closing our radiochemicals product lines at the end of 2009. Since then we have been working hard to continue to provide a high quality service to our customers and to seek opportunities to ensure continuity of this service beyond 2009.
We are delighted to report that we have reached an agreement with PerkinElmer, Inc ("PKI") in which PKI have purchased the assets of our Tritium and Carbon-14 radiochemicals catalogue preparations, SPA reagents and Cytostar-T plate product lines.
PerkinElmer, Inc. is a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment. Incorporation of these technologies will strengthen PKI's GPCR and Kinase research product lines, and complement their HTS and research reagent solutions.
We believe this sale of assets to PKI will ensure continuity of service.
All orders for SPA reagents, Cytostar-T plates or catalog radiochemicals should now be placed directly with PKI.
