ADP Assays

Fluorescent assays for kinase activity

ADP accumulation assays from GE Healthcare offer homogeneous, fluorescence based solutions for drug discovery. All phases of kinase-targeted therapeutic campaigns are catered for, from pathway and substrate profiling during target validation, through to selectivity studies and confirmatory screens during the hit-to-lead process.

ADP accumulation assays profile enzyme activity of kinases and ATPases by employing a fluorescent non-antibody based method to detect the amount of ADP generated from the phospho transfer reaction. The ADP resulting from the kinase reaction is reused as a co-factor in a subsequent enzymatic reaction to catalyze the production of a readable fluor.
