Amersham Radiolabeling Service In late December 2008, GE Healthcare Life Sciences announced it will be exiting the Tritium and Carbon-14 Catalogue Radiochemicals business along with the Amersham Radiolabeling Services at the end of 2009. We remain committed to continuing to supply products during 2009 and intend to provide a high level of product availability during the year. As part of our commitment we are exploring possible strategic alternatives for the radiochemicals business to offer continuing supply of products to our customers.
Carbon-14 Custom Radiolabeling GE Healthcare will continue to respond to Requests For Quotes for Carbon-14 radiolabeling projects throughout 2009. For requests where the project can be successfully completed and dispatched within 2009 the customer will be supplied with a price and the last date by which the order and any required methodology and material must be supplied to GE Healthcare. For any Requests For Quotes where there is a reasonable chance that the radiolabeling project may not be successfully completed and dispatched within 2009 then the customer will be informed in a timely manner of the company's decision not to quote for that project.

For requests where the project can be successfully completed and dispatched by September 2009 the customer will be supplied with a price and the last date by which the order and any required methodology and material must be supplied to GE Healthcare. For any Requests For Quotes where there is a reasonable chance that the radiolabeling project may not be successfully completed and dispatched by the end of September 2009 then the customer will be informed in a timely manner of the company's decision not to quote for that project.
